Drive Through the Armenian Street

Film Screening: Ring of Fury

Inspired by the kungfu craze sparked by Bruce Lee in the 1970s, Ring of Fury is Singapore’s first and only martial arts film featuring local Kyokushin karate master, Peter Chong. Banned from release in Singapore for over 30 years, the film was restored by the AFA using the surviving 35mm release print in 2017.

Join storyteller Wong Swee Yean in this bilingual storytelling session whre she shares about two young children learning about the different modes of transportation (car, bicycle, bus, train) as they are determined to travel long distances to meet up.

Changing Shift

Changing Shift, an outdoor 30-minute comedic play, written and directed by award winning Playwright and Director Lim Hai Yen, takes place at the Banyan Tree of National Museum. The story, which is told through the narrations of a taxi driver, a trishaw rider and a “carpark attendant, addresses the ongoing challenges faced by transport workers in Singapore.
