Sip & Drape A Journey of Chai and Sarees

Unravel timeless traditions in this immersive cultural experience! Begin by mastering the Nivi drape, India’s most celebrated saree style—exploring its evolution, symbolism, and significance as you learn to wear it with elegance.

Then, step into the aromatic world of chai, where British tea spies, ancient Assamese brews, and Chinese trade secrets shaped the global tea story. Engage your senses as you smell, touch, and taste the essential spices that give chai its warmth.

Working in small teams, you’ll then brew your own custom chai—adjusting spice levels and perfecting your own comforting cup. Finally, explore how "tea" and "cha" evolved across cultures, from India’s masala chai to Singapore’s Nanyang Teh.

A blend of storytelling, hands-on learning, and cultural appreciation, an evening of delightful discoveries.
