Be transported by photographers and poets Marc Nair and Syafiq Rafid as they lead you on a photo walk of their favourite train stations and extensions, and offer literary readings and ruminations on them. You are encouraged to let your mind wander and capture moments that exist within transit places, responding to infrastructure, patterns, and landscape through photographs. 

About Marc Nair
Marc Nair is a poet and photographer. He is a recipient of the 2016 Young Artist Award. He has performed spoken word in solo and group performances for fifteen years in more than ten countries and has represented Singapore in international poetry slam competitions. Marc has published six solo volumes of poetry and has released another three collections in collaboration with visual artists, photographers and graphic artists.

About Syafiq Rafiq
Syafiq Rafid is a film photographer who shoots beautiful images of Singapore’s urban landscapes and public transportation. He published his own volume of photographs and prose called New Therapy: Please Mind the Gap which “is an exploration on the trains we have here in Singapore. The ones we ride on daily and what they represent as spaces we occupy. It is a mix of photography, poetry and prose.”
