What is a ‘jinrikisha’? Which park connector used to be train tracks? Why was Tanjong Pagar called the ‘Cape of Stakes’? Find out more on this specially curated one-hour walking tour around Tanjong Pagar and Bukit Pasoh, and discover the area’s history as a major transportation node. Participants will come across many conserved buildings along the journey and appreciate how these architectural gems contribute to our city’s distinctive character even as they have been adapted to meet modern needs.
Led by the docents from the Friends of the Museums (FOM), this is an abridged version of the weekly Chinatown Heritage Walks by the Urban Redevelopment Authority and FOM.
