Place-Names-and-Singapores-Natural-Heritage

In this talk we’ll visit a surprising number of places that were named after plants and animals. We’ll also see places named after natural features that vanished or were transformed beyond recognition long ago. There may be a great deal more natural heritage in well known place names than many might imagine.
