An-Aviation-Journey
Well established today as a civil aviation hub, Singapore’s remarkable aviation journey began in the unlikeliest of places in 1919. Where might that have been? Which airline operated the first regular air services? Why was a plane seen on Orchard Road in the 1920s? Where did the first jetliner land? When was the first supersonic passenger liner seen over Singapore?

Join heritage enthusiast Jerome Lim as he traces Singapore aviation journey, share bits of trivia, and make a pit stop at Singapore’s first civil airport, Kallang Airport for a short virtual tour.
