Learn the basics of calligraphy from People’s Association trainer Lee Poon Kay. Mr Lee, who will be conducting the session at Ann Siang Road’s Kwong Wai Siew Lee Clan Association, is also an artist, musician and educator. The workshop will be conducted in Mandarin and materials will be provided.
About Lee Poon Kay
Lee Poon Kay teaches Chinese calligraphy at Teck Chee Community Centre (CC), Toa Payoh East Community Club and Metta School. He is also chairman of Teck Ghee CC’s Chinese Calligraphy Club, music director of the centre’s Chinese orchestra and a member of the Singapore Shicheng Chinese Calligraphy and Seal Carving Society.
