HBF Presents Tea & Calligraphy with Pek Sin Choon & Inklings

Price: $60 per pax

The Heritage Business Foundation invites you to an immersive afternoon of Chinese culture and artistry together with Pek Sin Choon and Inklings Creative Studio.

Tea and calligraphy have long been icons of Chinese culture, representing elegance, harmony, and mindfulness. While the tastes of modern society are constantly changing, our artisans continue to champion our beloved cultural practices, to ensure that our shared heritage can be enjoyed for generations to come.

Discover the different types of tea, and the origins of Nanyang Tea in Singapore. Learn about tea culture, and savour a cup which you will get to brew yourself. Dive into the history and significance of calligraphy, as well as the development of various brush styles. Try your hand at creating your own calligraphic work, using a special technique that incorporates tea into a unique artwork, for you to take home and appreciate.

Please note the following:
- Please comply with instructions from your artisans.
- Participants should exercise caution when handling hot water and tea.
- As calligraphy ink may stain your clothes, please dress appropriately.
- Children below the age of 13 should be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times.
