Explore the vibrant world of Peranakan culture through the intricate craft of peranakan beading with ManekNya. In this workshop, participants will learn about the heritage and significance of Peranakan beadwork, while discovering how ManekNya reimagines this traditional art form for today’s generation. Guided by experienced facilitators, participants will get hands-on with a thematic peranakan beading activity, creating their own artwork inspired by iconic Singapore symbols such as the orchid and the Singapore Flyer. This workshop blends cultural storytelling, creative expression, and hands-on craft, offering a meaningful experience that celebrates both peranakan heritage artistry and contemporary design.
