Follow the Scent: A Kampong Gelam Perfume Journey

Step into the fragrant world of Kampong Gelam with perfumer Johari Kazura as your guide. Trace the evolution of Singapore’s perfumery—from age-old traditions to modern interpretations—through visits to iconic local perfume shops. Along the way, engage your senses with classic ingredients like oud, rose, and sandalwood, and uncover the stories and heritage behind each scent.

Explore rare artefacts and vintage tools that reveal the craftsmanship of generations past, then conclude your experience with a hands-on workshop where you’ll blend your very own 5ml oil perfume. Each participant will also receive a beautifully designed booklet featuring scent-sprayed pages that bring Kampong Gelam’s history to life.

Limited-edition heritage scents available exclusively to early bird and media guests.
