About Singapore Minangkabau Association
Singapore Minangkabau Association (SMA) was established on 31 August 1994 with the vision to preserve and promote the Minangkabau culture in Singapore.
Malay Heritage Centre

The Malay Heritage Centre (MHC) provides wonderful cultural exposure and learning opportunities for people of all ages and interests. Situated within the Kampong Gelam precinct, the Centre acts as a vital heritage institution for the Malay community in Singapore. Through its exhibits, programmes and activities, the Centre hopes to honour the past while providing a means for present-day expression.

Although MHC is temporarily closed, the Centre continues to organise programmes and activities for everyone to enjoy and learn about Malay heritage & culture.
