The Sustainability and Heritage Talk is an educational discussion on the intersections between Singapore's sustainable fashion and natural heritage. Bringing together experts from each of the two areas provides the audience with unique perspectives on how they influence each other in our local, present-day context.
The moderated event will walk the audience through two journeys - the first is that of the fashion industry and its adoption of sustainable practices; the second is the development of natural heritage in Singapore and its influences on our fashion sector. Set against our natural heritage development over time, the discussion will cover early settlement days, being a regional hub for flora and fauna, and what our goals for the future might be.
This talk is produced by students from NAFA Arts Management students as part of the Singapore HeritageFest Youth Panel.
