Public Tour Dates: 22, 23, 29, 30 May 2021

Tour timing: 10am to 11.30am

Using mealtimes at home as a starting point, six children and youth from varied cultural backgrounds embarked on journeys to discover and document their family histories.

The efforts of the Tak Takut Kids Club members culminate in an exhibition housed at their community void deck in Boon Lay. Swing by the showcase to hear their stories of self-discovery, view their photo essays and take home multicultural recipes to try out on your own.

Apart from the exhibition, you can also sign up for an interactive tour of the lively Boon Lay neighbourhood where a mix of ethnic grocery stores, a wet market, hawker centre and ground-up social organisations come together to form a unique and supportive ecosystem for residents young and old.
