When we remember the COVID-19 pandemic, we think of medical professionals and their tireless work at the forefront of the battle against the pandemic. But how do we capture that moment in time?
As part of an initiative by the museum to document contemporary events and developments in Singapore, photographer Bob Lee was commissioned to capture the day-to-day of a nurse’s working life during the pandemic. Hear from Bob as he recounts his experience of taking photos in the Khoo Teck Puat hospital and what it meant to capture the work of healthcare professionals during these exceptional times.
This programme is organised in conjunction with the museum’s ‘Picturing the Pandemic: A Visual Record of Covid-19 in Singapore’ special exhibition. It will be concurrently livestream on National Museum of Singapore's Facebook Page.
